Minimum bulk and maximum performance for a practical garment that you can stash in a bag or pocket so you're ready for any situation the roads less traveled might present you. Our line for protection from the elements has a long history, and we’ve gained a great deal of experience working with the pros in developing it. Many of our jackets are already perfect for gravel, but we wanted to go further. So here is the DR Jacket, a garment designed to protect you from the weather with some adaptations for off-road cycling. To begin with, we’ve created, as always, a seam-sealed garment in waterproof material by combining panels of different materials and inserting some stretch in the areas that are more critical to movement. The fit is the close, aerodynamic fit you expect from Sportful. Then we added a mesh pocket on the chest. Often when you wear a jacket in the rain you can’t access your jersey pockets, so why not keep some objects, maybe an energy bar, where you don’t have to open the jacket or try to pull it up? Then we added our reflective elements, as visibility is even more important in the rain. And finally, when the sun comes out again, you can fold the jacket inside the mesh pocket and use the external elastic to hang it on your handlebar without necessarily having to put it back in your pocket or bag.
